Three weeks have passed since my last update – wow. Didn’t notice, haha.
Some things have happened 🙂
First of all: this.
So last weekend I was in Amstelveen to get some new Pokémon…. walked 7.5 km in the shopping mall but only caught several Kangaskhan and Unown. In total I caught about 300 monsters.
I’m not really sure how this event thing actually works but as I can’t spend several hours every weekend in a shopping mall I won’t be able to get any others (especially because the last weekend I am not even close due to holiday) – and on that note it doesn’t look like that other things spawn on normal work days either (I work in Amsterdam and didn’t see anything that I don’t have yet). Or I’m just not lucky 😀 But I had fun 😀
I finally got a Hitmontop through hatching the baby version and evolving it 😀
I also found out that when feeding a Pokémon through the Pokémon menu when it is in a gym, the mark for favorite will get deleted! Which sucks but well if you know it…
Aaaaaaaaand. Yesterday 13th of August was a special day. As I started exactly a year ago \o/ I went to a local park to see if there’s any Pokémon I didn’t catch yet, it started to rain, so I kind of rushed through the park and went home with nothing in my pocket
Sad for me in my area aren’t that many people to do raids so i couldn’t get any legendary yet and while I was at the shopping mall only small stuff spawned at the gyms 🙂
Sooner or later, sooner or later~ but in the end it doesn’t mean I never tried to solo – at least against Moltres 😀
today I will go on a short weekend vacation in Germany 🙂
Pokémon Go Plus can not find gym disks although they count as Stops…. that kinda sucks.
Today I finally could put a monster into the gym at the train station (after days of beating other teams *lol*
I finally tried a raid battle. Alone. *lol*
First: use the Raid Pass
Second: Wait until the starting counter is done and choose your monsters – users can join your party if they have the code (shown in upper right corner)
Third: Beat the crap out of the raid boss
It showed “Networ Error” 3 times after starting and I couldn’t beat the Pokémon in time – then it got stuck anyways due to the error and I needed to reboot the app -_- I think as none of my used monsters were dead it actually didn’t count at all.
There’s a new event: From 6th of July, 1PM PDT until 24th of July, 1PM PDT there will be special Pikachus and an Anniversary Box that includes Incubators, Max Revives, Ultra Balls and Premium Raid Passes.

Well as you can see the interval of posting declines 😀
Not because I don’t play but because nothing happens 😀
Well, I am still catching things. I am trying to beat other teams in gyms.
I didn’t catch anything new but I was able to use some of my upgrade items on caught monsters 🙂 Less crap in inventory *lol*
My Plus finally ran out of battery. Took me a few days to get a new battery and played less in that time buuuuuuuuuut I am back playing between home-> work and vice versa + home until sleep now 🙂
A new patch was released with some bug fixes although I don’t know what they fixed *lol*
Tonight a new event will start \o/ maybe I’ll be able to catch a Houndour.
Specifications of the Solstice Event:
13th of June, 1PM PDT – 20th of June, 1PM PDT
rate of catching fire and ice types increased

To celebrate the first anniversary of the game, Niantic plans to host several events. The first one will take place on 22nd of July in Chicago, Illinois, USA. More information on other events will be posted soon. Somewhen.
I updated my game to the newest version and am surprised. This is the first update since three patches ago which I don’t need to deinstall, download and install the complete game again. Let’s wait for a bigger update so I can complain again that Niantic doesn’t check their own shit 😀
Pokémon GO will have a new event~ starting today (which is also my birthday hoorah!).
This event will feature Rock types and increase the buddy’s candy drop rate – 4 times as fast… meaning? Distance /4, so a 2km = 250m, 3km = 0,75m, 5km = 1,25km.
Also: More items will be obtained from PokéStops and PokéBalls are 50% off in the in-game shop. A new avatar item will be added: Explorer Hat.
The event will take place between 18th of May, 1PM PDT and 25th of May, 1PM PDT. In my time zone (Amsterdam, CET) that’s…. 10PM 😀
I am walking my Sunkern now, since I finished walking Scythor and evolving it to Scizor.
I hatched a decent Eevee a few weeks ago, needed some candies but finally could evolve it to an Umbreon – using the name cheat of course.
Two days ago I caught a Wobbuffet and yesterday I hatched a Mareep. And that’s about it for this week 🙂
I finally hit level 27 today 😀 (after quitting the game with 188222/200000 EXP yesterday night) and hatched my very first Scyther yay~
And as there was a new update yesterday, some changes occured:
Eggs are differently colored and Pokémon got additional pictures (type) – as seen below.
Sorry, I don’t have much to say this week (I’m really stressed at work and private due to my upcoming holiday the day after tomorrow, so sorry)
except I should never battle when I don’t have enough Revives…. I had 19 monsters stocked up for reviving T_T and PokéStops hated me T_T
I finally recovered all of them by today when I went to the city centre of Haarlem (Netherlands) for 20 minutes and just nuked the crap out of the Stops for Revives or my level up (as it gave me 10 revives x.x but hooray for reviving all monsters before that actually happened)
There seems to be an event starting on 26th of October and ends on 1st of November that will allow you to catch more Ghost type Pokémon (due to Halloween). Patch Notes.
So sorry for closing this week’s status so fast but I really don’t have time to keep on writing much these days. Maybe that will calm down in my holidays, although I don’t know if I’ll be able to play the game much because….well….holidays~ ❤
