The weather sucks right now…
It started Saturday with a huge storm and lots of rain.
It continues to rain and rain and rain…. with a few breaks in between.

What’s worse:
I was about to wash clothes in my machine when I saw that the drained water from the machine ended up being puked into the kitchen through the pipe that is open (as it is meant for a dish washer – I am glad I don’t have a dish washer as the water would have been pumped into it) and onto the ground while the rest was pushed up the sink in the kitchen…. great. Just great.

I tried the water drain in the bathroom with the result that the pipes make weird noise and water is being pushed up in the kitchen.
I cleaned all the water on the ground in the kitchen and put go-devil into all the sinks and shower and informed my landlord.
2 hours later I tried to wash it through. Now the water was stuck in the kitchen’s sink and shower…

My landlord made an appointment with a plumber on Monday. They were meant to call me shortly before they arrive. At 4PM my landlord called them to ask what is going on as they promised to drop by and no one called or showed up at my place.
Well~ I received a call and got told: Can’t come by today. Anyone home tomorrow?
Ya great. Was working at home yesterday and waiting for the plumber today at home again…
I’m mad. Landlord’s mad.

My only hope is that they can find out what is going on… my shower does not drain water as usual – just after a few hours the water is gone while the pipes make really weird sounds… plus I think that the washing machine spit water already 2 weeks ago. But I couldn’t find the source as I was too late to see the water dripping off the pipe.

I could blame the plumber that worked on the pipes twice in the last 3 months for a neighbor… The first appointment was to exchange pipes and I was not meant to use water the whole day back then.
The second time they did not explain what they are doing but I was meant to not use water either. The time fits the first time I heard the washing machine pushing the water up the pipe.
I just really hope that there is something wrong with the main pipe due to the repair works they did before instead of the apartment’s pipes – it’s a who-pays-the-repair-question here 😉

Well~ let’s see what the dude finds out today.

New Figurine In My Collection

Yesterday I received a package with one of my orders from Japan /
A neighbor of mine accepted the package and put it directly in front of my door – hooray~

It was a really huge package. Much bigger then I expected it to be although the figurine itself is a bit bigger then my others *lol* but I wasn’t aware of that anymore…

I unwrapped the package and got hyped. Such a beauty~ ❤

Some New Series To Watch

I discovered a few series which are indeed worth of continuing to watch. Some I found on my own, others were recommended by friends and colleagues.

Of course this won’t be about recent series that already have seasons – I am talking about (brand) new stuff 🙂 But obviously I don’t want to spoil the fun of watching – if you’re going to watch:

  • Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell:
England, 19th century. Magic is near to extinct and some dudes want to revive the magical times. 2 Magicians are in competition with each other and lots of magical things happen.
  • Mr. Robot:
Elliot has an anti-social disorder and connects with people only by hacking them. He works for a cyber security company when he discovers a mysterious virus which leads him to a hacking organization.
  • Dark Matter:
6 people awake on board of a space ship without any memories of their past. The ship’s data is deleted except for some hints.
  •  Between:
A mysterious sickness hits a town: Everyone above 21 dies. The children left behind try to organize themselves while the government fences them into the city borders.
(My opinion: this is a mix of the stories of “The Wave” and “Lord of the Flies”)
  • The Whispers:
Drill is an unseen individual that “plays a game” with innocent children of powerful (or necessary) parents. These games lead to disastrous situations, so an FBI agent needs to take action.
  • Proof (US):
A woman neglects her environment after losing her son and persues to investigate cases of reincarnation and hauntings as she wants an answer for the question if death is final.
  • Zoo:
What happens if all animals suddenly decide to prey on humanity? Well, that’s basically all to say about this one 😀 (It starts with lions and cats)

That’s the word I will use more often today as much as possible – and most likely more often then ever before :/

This week is really warm – yesterday I had 32°C in my apartment (the morning started with 14). Outside it was roughly 35 – at 10PM.
I went to bed shortly after 11PM with a temperature of 25°C in my bedroom.
Today I woke up by my alarm and 23 degrees…. disgusting. Sweating already before leaving the house.
I stranded at work when the temperature hit the 25 mark. Grrrr. At least the office has airco.

I was on search for a stapler when I discovered the most EWWWWWWW-thing I ever saw in a desk drawer near my desk 😦 A rotten peer!

Disgusting disgusting disgusting!

So after this discovery I hope that the temperatures won’t go through the roof today (pls pls pls don’t I want to survive in my apartment)
